Kana Studios is the Boston-based bespoke furniture design and artist studio of Patrick Kana. His work is centered around an exploration of both natural and architectural form, the finest local materials, and a respect for time-tested methods. Often working one-on-one with private clients and designers alike, Patrick is devoted to creating work of timeless design and enduring quality. 

In addition to maintaining his own practice, Patrick is a devoted educator serving as the Associate Director of Makerspaces for the College of Arts, Media and Design as well as part-time Faculty for the School of Architecture at Northeastern University. Patrick has won numerous awards both as staff and faculty, and also teaches summer workshops at craft schools around the U.S.

Patrick's work is represented by Atelier Contemporary (Newport, RI and Santa Fe, NM), as well as Triangle Gallery in Rockland, ME.
